Inihaw na Liempo


INGREDIENTS:

  • 6 pcs. pork belly slices (around 1/2 inch thick)
  • 3/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp minced thyme
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Whisk together the vinegar, cooking oil, thyme and garlic. Add salt and pepper to taste. Soak the pork slices in the mixture. Marinate the pork for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a charcoal grill. Grill the pork slices for 10 to 12 minutes. Let it cool. Slice into strips. Best served with a side of mango ensalada.
